Friday mission.

I have been drooling over Jamie Beck's glorious Moroccan themed spread over at her blog From Me To You.  Aside from making me want to book the next flight out to Marrakech, I fell in love with the following look (aside from the head piece which is very editorial and could never pull off). I particularly love the pants, which I believe she bought on a recent trip there (check out the rest of her blog posts on it... another one for the 'I Die' Diaries).

Lunchtime Pick Me Up?

So I was walking along King Street today feeling rather run down and just completely over myself when like a shining beacon of light on the horizon I saw it.... '50% of of everything' at Subway DC.

I have been a long time customer of Subway but of late, thanks to my widening wasteline, I have not been as faithful as I once was.  However the shopping gods were smiling down on me today and I found this great Life with Bird Maxi for $250.00!  The picture does not do the amazing colours justice so I took a close up photo:

We have casual Friday tomorrow in the office so I am going to wear my new dress with my Calvin Klein Blazer, pink MAC St Germain lippie and boots... knee length, ankle, biker... I'll decide in the morning ;)

Summer perfection.

I have been a huge fan of DVF for a long time, and the new Fleurette silhouette just increases my fangirl love tenfold.  This dress can be a wardrobe staple for many sizes and shapes.  My favourite is the neutral nougat which could work day/night summer/winter, but Heron Blue would be nice for night also and the print pictured above or Acid Yellow would be fun for a beachy holiday if you could pull it off.
